If you would like to know what Edinburgh PhD graduates have gone on to do you can now access an overview on the Careers Service website.
This information is based on the annual survey of graduate destinations carried out at six months after graduation. Due to the relatively small size of PhD graduate cohorts, we have combined the destination information from a 3 year period combined, i.e. 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14. This information provided represents a snapshot of what graduates were doing six months after graduation. You will find overall statistics showing the percentage of graduates in work, further study etc., and also examples job roles and further study courses entered.
While this data provides a useful picture of the varied paths that people embark shortly after graduation, it’s worth bearing in mind that people’s careers will move on from this point in different ways.
