One hundred University of Edinburgh students from at least 25 nationalities will work together over 4 days to explore a major world challenge from a local perspective. The issue being addressed is: How do you prevent city sprawl?
This programme involves a partnership between the University, City of Edinburgh Council and The Wheatley Group. Students taking part will engage with key stakeholders groups related to the partner organisations to fully research, understand and respond to the challenge.
This opportunity is open to both postgraduate and undergraduate students and there is no cost to participate. It is being run by Common Purpose, a social enterprise with over 25 years’ experience in leadership development programmes across the globe. The programme aims to develop leadership and problem solving skills, establish a genuinely global network, and help to influence world issues.
