PhD student internships within University of Edinburgh

Internships-Wordle-v3Some of you may be interested in three new internships within the University of Edinburgh open only to current postgraduate research students.  The part-time roles offer 3 to 6 hours per week for approximately 6 months allowing you to work flexibly around your studies. Some details on the currently available internships can be found below but closing dates are coming up soon so you’ll have to be quick if you’re interested:

Online Resource Intern as part of the Student Experience Project (SEP)

You will support the development and expansion of the Induction Team’s online presence through a variety of projects. This work will enable you to develop web editing skills, knowledge of student/university blogging best practices.

Media and Film Intern – as part of the Student Experience Project (SEP)

You will work alongside the SEP Manager to produce a range of films including short talking head documentaries on the work of the SEP and its impact. You will also liaise with marketing to effectively promote these films.

Careers Service Intern

You will support the work of Careers Service staff to develop resources, plan and deliver events, and conduct research and analysis of projects and initiatives to evaluate their effectiveness.   This internship is available from Mid-August for 5 months.
